Choices, Choices…
Hyundai-Mobis will be giving in-person and on-line attendees a choice between seeing the vehicles in person or by visiting the company’s Metaverse site, where visitors can create their own avatar in ‘M.Vision Town’ and test drive each vehicle (starting January 4, 2022). Of course the company will also have a private booth where a number of new products will be showcased for potential customers (and orders taken), while the company will also sponsor a 2D virtual showroom for those not attending the show in person. No indication of whether the Metaverse site will require a VR platform for use, although we expect such a requirement would limit the number of virtual attendees. Whether you want it or not, the Meatverse is coming.
