LG OLED TV Recall
LG Electronics () the leader in OLED TV, will voluntarily recall about 60,000 OLED TV units sold between February 2016 and September 2019, due to the necessity to replace a component on the power supply boards that was found to be degrading and causing excessive current flow and heating. The company indicated that only a very few number of models showed the signs of heating but would offer to replace the power boards on the models indicated to insure customer safety. 22,000 of the 60,000 have already been updated. 18 models are included in the recall.
